Raising My Daughters in the Age of AI: A Father’s View from the Frontlines of Technology

In recent years, I have worn two hats every day: one as a father to three wonderful daughters and another as an AI leader working for a global enterprise. I’ve lived and worked in Brazil, Italy, Poland, and Sweden. I speak six languages, navigate cultures instinctively, and lead AI strategy and adoption within the enterprise space.

But among all my roles, being a father is the most grounding — and the most urgent when it comes to thinking about the future.

The question that haunts me: I often feel the paradox that I’m helping build the future, yet I’m also worried that my daughters won’t be ready for it. That contradiction drives my most pressing question: How do I prepare my daughters for a world I already work in, but that, for them, hasn’t even started to feel real?

Stella, my eldest, is 17. She lives in Italy and is entering adulthood at a moment of rapid technological, social, and geopolitical upheaval. Meanwhile, my younger daughters, Sofia (7) and Emily (6), were born in Poland and now live with me in Sweden. They’re just beginning their educational journeys.
