This week marks two years since our relocation to Sweden, and it feels like the perfect time for my family and me to reflect on our journey — embracing a new place, a new work culture, a new language, and countless new challenges, both big and small.

When my wife, two daughters, and I decided to move from Poland to Sweden, it wasn’t just a geographical change — it was the start of a new chapter in our lives, both professionally and personally. We knew we were stepping into one of the most forward-thinking innovation hubs in the world. Now, two years in, I can confidently say that living in Sweden, with its vibrant tech and innovation culture, has exceeded every expectation.

Like many others in tech, I arrived without Swedish language skills (though I speak English and a few other European languages) and with a healthy dose of excitement and curiosity.
